My baby LOVES this gym. It's his second-favorite place to hang out (first is in your arms). The mat is lovely and well-cushioned. We hand all kinds of toys from the arches overhead. We started using this around 6 weeks and now at 4 months, it's still a favorite. I was looking for something more aesthetically pleasing than the brightly colored plastic gyms. This is so nice it lives out in our living room full time and we don't mind at all. My only negative feedback would be about how the mat attaches to the arches - it's little velcro tabs that are awkward to do up and come undone all the time. There has to be a better way.
