All I can say is that this product is a total game changer and has made drying and styling my hair so much easier. As someone who has thick curly hair styling my hair has always been a disaster! However the Dry Bar Half Shot is so easy to use and dries and styles my hair in 15mins. It's so light and doesn't make you feel like you've had a workout. After I'm left with bouncy shiny hair. I have been really amazed by this product, it's is very easy to use and the handle is easy grip and glides through the hair very easy, gives a slight wave perfect for every day styling, I would highly recommend to watch the videos they suggest they are easy to follow and offer new styles to yourself to try! Found this quite difficult to use at first but that's just because I was used to using a conventional hair dryer! Once you get used to it, it's great. It takes longer to dry my hair than a normal hair dryer but found my hair looks and felt soft after using. My partner has started using it too as it adds a little bit of volume to his hair so we rarely use a hairdryer now. Originally posted on www.drybar.com
I received this product from HTC in return for my honest review. Let me start by saying I have found my new holy grail! DryBar Half Shot is next to none when it comes to being able to dry your hair whilst styling, it saves me around 15-20 minutes each day. I assumed the appliance may be tricky to use but it was so straight forward and easy to get the hang of. My hair has always been limp and lifeless and the majority of appliances I've tried have not achieved the look I wanted nor what the product claims to do. Drybar is completely different, my hair is now big and bouncy and it's taking half the time! In addition to this my hair looks healthier, feels glossier and has a more noticeable shine to it. I've received multiple compliments since using this tool and I certainly will be continuing to use this and not reverting back to my old appliance. The brush is well made and looks really nice. It is not heavy which is great. When turned on, sounds a bit loke hairdryer, so it's not too loud but has some noise. I tried using the brush after I dried my hair partly with hairdryer as well on its own. I think it took a bit more for the brush to dry my hair from towel dry but I was still surprised at how fast it did that. My hair is wavy and frizzy and the best thing about this brush is making it look smooth and helping me blow dry it. I have tried blow drying with normal brush and hairdryer but I always struggle. With this brush I find it so easy to make a straight blow dry. I also tried making curly blow dry which also looks really cute and may become better with some practice on my side. Overall I really enjoy using this blow dry brush and I like that I can create variations of blow dry styles which I found impossible before. Originally posted on www.drybar.com
