New York City-based clothing brand Stray Rats gets another call from New Balance for a new 574 collection. Prepare for this Stray Rats x New Balance 574 “Black Red”.

Stray Rats founder Julian Consuegra formed the brand in 2010 in Miami and then moved to New York in 2014. Inspired by hardcore music and pop culture, the brand Zielone graphic-heavy tees in its early years before getting the brand’s first sneaker collaboration with New Balance. The partnership began in 2018 with a 990v3 collaboration. This collaboration went on for the next three years on different silhouettes. This New Balance 574 rendition features a black suede base with red suede tones on the vamp, N branding, and collar. It resembles an extremely popular colour blocking with the black and red combination. The heel counter comes in grey while purple accents adorn the heel foam midsole for additional detail. Co-branded labels on the tongue and sockliner complete the latest 574 collaboration.
