Product itself is lovely and would suit any home. A shelf is a nice addition! Sadly, this is let down by a poor fixing design. If you use the provided keyhole hooks the shelf doesn’t sit flush against the wall and slants downwards. Enough for something to slide forwards.To fix this I used my own approach and removed the outer two hooks and drilled a 4mm holes in the centre of each. I could then get a screw through the gap and into the wall. The hooks then go back in place and cover the screws nicely. Doing it this way means it sits perfectly flush and, arguably, is more secure!I fixed these to plasterboard using M4 interset fixings. No stud was available and they still hold strong.
