The bag arrived in time. The people delivering the new Atelier-lumieresShops mattress did not collect the old one because it was not in their list of duties. Called the customer service department and they booked an alternative date for the collection, and raised the request for a refund as I requested it. In the end, as it was urgent to dispose the old mattress, I hired an alternative company which was able to collect the old mattress on an earlier date than the one offered by the customer service department. I am not too sure how does this work, but it seems that there is a kind of miscommunication between the dispatching and the collection departments. Another option is that they just did not want to collect the old mattress, I really do not know. Moral of the story: do not bother. Buy the mattress you like most and contact a third party for the collection of the old mattress.
