The basketball player Michael Jordan pre did not always wear Nike trainers to play. This somewhat surprising title states that the young Michael Jordan, during his entire NCAA career, heat Converse! Air Jordan pre is a collection of trainers promoted by Jordan pre Brand (a subsidiary of NIKE, Inc.). The Jordan pre line of sneakers was founded in 1984 exclusively for Michael Jordan, six-time NBA champion, and was launched in 1985 with the Jordan pre 1.
Now with its 35th signed and approved version, called the "Jordan pre 35", the sub-brand is the most widely used line of trainers ever made exclusively for athletes. Notable designers involved in the development of some of the iterations include Bruce Kilgore, Wilson Smith III, Tate Kuerbis, Peter Moore, and Tinker Hatfield.
Originally designed for professional basketball players, Jordan's, especially the first 14 versions, quickly found their way into everyday life outside of the sporting world.  It was Jordan pre Brand who revisited the very first Bball trainer in the collection in 1994, taking advantage of Jordan's first retirement from the NBA.

In the years that followed, hundreds of old and new versions or retrospectives poured in, indiscriminately as individual releases or as part of series such as the Defining Moments Pack, Countdown Pack and collections such as the Bin 23.

The Jordan pre 21 features an upper made from a combination of premium Italian suede and premium full-grain leather. Built-in breathability features in the forefoot are combined with an innovative, specially engineered textile for added support and durability.
The contoured heel counter design offers extended ankle support. The innovative foam padded collar completes the seamless construction of the shoe for maximum comfort.
The Jordan pre 21's breathable mesh tongue helps reduce heat, while the adjustable tongue cover lifts up to reveal the breathable technology or folds down for a more stylish design.

The Jordan pre 21's fully lined phylon midsole offers a more restrained stance. The evolution of the I.P.S. (Independent Podular Suspension) technology now consists of an interchangeable cushioning technology with a zoom pillar in the heel area that can be converted. The all-carbon fiber upper plate gives the Jordan pre 21 trainer support in the midfoot and arch area.
Innovative I.P.S. technology is inserted into the outsole with enhanced herringbone lugs, giving the Jordan pre 21 better traction. The innovative pattern on the outsole provides multi-directional traction.

The Air Jordan pre XXI trainer was originally released in four different colorways for $175.00 and this innovative version embodies four elements: the legend, the man, the style...Michael Jordan.
